I previously wrote about Virtual PC, off course we all know that this is the solution for a single PC environment. So how about the Enterprise needs ? Can Virtual PC help you use that application that only runs on Windows XP but in a Enterprise environment ? Yes this is possible with Med-V from Microsoft. Basically this still is Virtual PC but with some extra’s like:

Now that Windows 7 is on the market, people are switching to this new Operating System from Microsoft. The hardware you can buy nowadays is very powerfull and equipped with lots of memory. Even the 64 bit version of Windows 7 is a very good choice to work with, because of the capability to use more memory than the “normal” version of Windows 7.
